Super rare promo only EP from the Tempus Show including one great psychedelic beat (freakbeat) track by The B.G. System that was only ever available on this EP! The label was from La Chaux Des Fonds (home of The Shamrocks, Nick Killer And The Shakings, The Froggies, Duo Maubert, etc.) The nice gatefold cover (graded VG+) only shows somelight edgewear on the outside, it looks perfect M- on the gatefold inside! Ex The Gentlemen (Columbia records, 1966), and ex The Wild Gentlemen (they've made two LPs and one 45 for the Pick, and Ex Libris labels in ca. late 1966)! B.G. System were formed after the breakup of The Wild Gentlemen in 1967. A bargain!
Superrare Swiss late 50's instrumental tittyshaker rnr EP from Basel! With two faint stamps from a local dance school on the cover.
Cool 1957 tittyshaker 33r.p.m. EP including 6 sleazey, and cheesey rock n roll instrumentals! Some of this stuff would fit perfectly on the next volume of Las Vegas Grind. Virtually impossible to find in better condition. Big Pitt Linder was the soundman behind The Sevens, The Red Devils and countless other bands. He used to build the PA systems for most of the early Swiss bands from Basel, and he was also hosting his own radio show in the 50s and 60s too. All copies have some bubbles in wax (except for the last pressing). This is the first pressing. A bargain!
Super rare rocking Swiss Johnny And The Hurricanes type of instrumental EP from Basel, Switzerland! Big Pitt a.k.a. Pitt Linder was a legendary early Swiss musician, soundman, radio host, etc. He has released about a dozen of records during 1955-1963 with his own bands the Rock n Rollers, Rhythm Rockets, The Tornados, etc. and some of them are virtually impossible to find. A bargain!

Ultra rare private EP of drum solos! It was recorded by and released though Studio Botteron from Biel, Switzerland. Definitely a great one if you are into drum solos. There is no date of release given. Judging by the cover and record I would say that it could have been released anywhere between 1966 to 1970. It could be from the late 60s, but it was made like an old record from around 1966, with beautiful laminated hardcover picturesleeve! It’s just drum solos. Technically he's as good as most of the great rock and jazz drummers. This record should appeal especially to the the jazz collectors, as well as to the rock and progressive collectors too.

Musically, it reminds me a lot of the Robert Mitchum LP (with typical naive Barbadean vocals and rhythm!) very nice stuff! It also contains one cool cover of Leadbelly’s Leavin Blues. Perfect unplayed condition! Most of the copies were released sleeveless. A bargain!

Super rare Swiss beat 45 from a small town nearby Basel called Liestal! One band member came from Zurich, but all the remaining bandmembers came from Liestal! They were also using a harp player from Liestal on some occassions, but not on this record. This 45 was released with two picture sleeves. One of them had the titles correctly spelled in english on the cover, and the other one had the songtitles falsely listed in german on the sleeve. There is only one version of the record out there, and that’s the english one!

As Mike Stax described in Ugly Things: All The Day is an excellent rockin beat number overrun with mad trebly guitar leads, and they also dish out a wild, Star Club-style Long Tall Sally. Very tasty picturesleeve on this number too. Few copies left of this superlimited, official previously unreleased first Mods 45 from 1965. All The Day was later on released by Layola records, but Long Tall Sally has never seen the light. Must have!

Classic early German midtempo slopper! Let’s Slop has been so influental on the continent that even Tony Sheridan (and some others) went on to record a coverversion of it! Mike Roger even made it as far as to the Peppermint Lounge in New York City back when they were still twisting to Joey Dee and The Starlighters. Mike’s lazy vocal style is a bit similar to that of Fats Domino. He sounds like a lazy fat man! The sound is super cool twisted midfast slop rnr with a shaking beat! Rare!

They were releasing two more great private EPs on the tiny VDE studio label in 1966. On this EP they were accompagning some cool local folk beat singers (male and female). The sound is totally in the garage with a super cool organ sound! Favorite cut by FRANCE KERNEN ET EDWIGE SAVARY AND LES SCORPIONS is moody French beat/garage with cute female vox! All cuts are great. Only the first copies of this record came with PS. This copy never had a picturesleeve, it only came with a plain white sleeve. Price would be DOUBLE or more if it came with original PS. I could throw in a photo copy of the PS for free.

It could take years until the next copy of it will pop up again! =only about my 3rd extracopy of it ever. This is about as tough to find as The Slaves on Philips. Ultra rare Swiss rnb/soul/beat original EP from 1967 on the highly collectable Kaiser Electronic studio label! It was recorded live at the Mansutti Show in Basel on Sept. 8. 1967! There were only 500 copies of this more or less private promo EP ever made! A very obscure record by some completely unknown band! Les Cactus is a cover version of the Jacques Dutronc song. The record is musically interesting, quite good, but not fantastic! It is housed inside one super cool looking photo packed double gatefold poster cover! Beautiful condition! This is my best extra copy of this record ever! A bargain!
The A-side has the title track from Manny Weber’s famous Swiss 60s Tv show Doppelt Oder Nut, while the flipside contains a fairily good beat number with backing by Buzz Bennett’s early band the Sextett 63! This is the best kept extra copy of it that I’ve ever came across in the past 30+ years. The Picturesleeve was nicely signed by Manny Weber! This is only the 2nd signed copy of it that I have found so far.

Tracks include: THE LORDS (And At Night), THE GLOOMYS (Winds Of Change), DAVE CLARK FIVE (Everbody Knows), PETER AND GORDON (Woman), THE PEANUTS (Bye Bye Yokohama), GRAHAM BONNEY (99.9 Prozent), plus some German Schlager cuts by Gitte, Jaqueline Boyer, Howard Carpfendale, Thomas Fritsch, Rex Gildo etc. The frontcover has got the LORDS, GLOOMYS (with Frank Zander on guitar), DAVE CLARK FIVE etc. pictured. The linernotes text on the backcover is in German. Photos and tracks are courtesy of Electrola records. The record has got a few scuffs, but plays still nicely VG to VG+! The cover is in superb strong and super clean VG+ condition, and has the lamination still perfectly intact. The seams are still perfectly intact too. The cover has some light edge wear at two or three corners only (=NOT much). The cover grades in clean strong VG+ condition overall, which means that it is still in fine strong excellent condition! I think this is the only copy of it that I’ve ever came across!

ULTRA RARE AND FANTASTIC TWIST LP FROM THE EARLY 60S! It includes some absolutely KILLER first rate Las Vegas Grind style tittyshakers, one killer sonic rnr guitar instrumental called Gitar Shake, some fantasic SHADOWS type of guitar instumentals (Red Shadows), some really GREAT Twist vocals etc. Most of the cuts are far above the average. There are some real KILLER cuts on this LP! Some truly outstanding stuff! It was their first and I think best LP. The first and BEST Swiss Rock n Roll LP ever made! Will Best, the owner of the Star label was a famous Swiss composer from Bern. He co-wrote most of the songs on this LP, and he probably plays on it too. The whereabouts of the 4 Camillos (aka Camillos) was not clear for a long time, but I’ve found out that the bandleader was called Camillo Cartolari, and that he was also releasing one very interesting album as Camillo Cartolari E I Suoi Ticinesi on the Star label (called Saluti Dal Ticino), and so I’m sure that the 4 Camillos were from Ticino, Switzerland. Some of their 45s, and EPs were also licensed for release in Belgium, Spain, and possibly some other countries too. It’s virtually impossible to find a copy of this LP. I’ve paid 250.- for this copy myself about 15 years back, but I was lucky to finally upgrade the LP with one unplayed copy of it. This is my first extracopy of this LP in 30 years of collecting and dealing rare Swiss Beat records. This is harder to find than the Sevens, and Sauterelles LPs!

Superrare and great Swissbeat LP on the Layola label! The vinyl looks as if it was under perhaps the influence of too much sunlight, or whatever, it is slightly warped all over, but it does not affect play at 1.25 grams! In fact it plays great, about VG+! Some great tracks from live at the Mascotte in Lucern: Ask Me, Little Things, The Last Time, Bring It On Home, Eight Days A Week, etc. Cheap!!

The A-side was recorded by Steff Sulke, and directed by Leon Francioli of Les Aiglons!
Ultra rare private LP by some very obscure amateurish Swiss orchestra from the small town of Delemont. I’ve mainly bought it for the super cool cover. The frontcover has a yellow background with cool red titles and 4 roundish black and white bandphotos that looks typical 60s! The back of the flipback cover has a typical 60s artwork too. It would be a super nice sleeve to boot! The LP plays strange orchestrated music for most parts. There is a great boogie woogie number on it that rocks in authentic 50s style (Rimbalzello), it even has a pretty cool orchestrated 60s like coverversion of Giorgio Moroder’s bubblegum hit Lookey Lookey with fast drumming that sounds as if it was recorded in the garage! =something that would fit great to play between tracks for a joke, it would be cool to Dj with too. The remaining songs are all played in different styles, and always with slightly different lineups. There are 4 or 5 songs in the south american beguine, paso double style, plus covers of La Paloma, Hello Dolly, etc. This is more or less impossible to find! A bargain for the rare Swiss LP hunter!

ULTRARARE AND KILLER SWISS KINKS/BEATLES/DOORS INFLUENCED 60S BEAT/GARAGE LP WITH FANTASTIC GUITAR, AND ORGAN LEADS LIKE THE DOORS BY THIS OBSCURE BAND FROM BERN, SWITZERLAND! It sold to me as an LP from 1968, and it sounds as if it was recorded in around 1968 too. It was the first (and only) 60s beat/garage LP from the Swiss capital of Bern. It was released on the bands own private SENN-SOUND label. Only FEW hundred copies made, and VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION! This is easily one of the five (5) BEST Swiss 60s beat, garage, psych LPs there is, and it could easily be the rarest one of them too! Very nice condition: The record LOOKS about VG+ (few light paperscuffs only) and PLAYS PERFECT M- !! The labels are perfectly MINT! The thin laminated LP cover looks a SUPERCLEAN VG++ with about 2 inch seams split at the top right only (=not disturbing!) TRACKS: Here Comes The Sun / Viktoria / Oh Darling / Sabre Dance / Sweet Dream / Good Golly Miss Molly // Waiting For The Wind / Drinking My Moonshine / Yesterday / Livings Rock (fantastic guitar - organ beat/garage instrumental) / Birthday / Light My Fire. This is actually MUCH harder to find than the legendary SEVENS LP on Layola records. You never find a copy of the LIVINGS LP for sale, but the SEVENS LP always pops up from time to time for at some heavy prices! My asking price for this LP is still fairily low considering the MONSTER rarity of this still undiscovered unknown local Swiss LP. It is easily worth it. This is guaranteed to increase in vale as soon as collectors will find out about it.
Ultra rare spoken word LP (in french) by Roger Nordmann the founder of La Chaine Du Bonheur! It was released at around the time of his death in 1972. It could be a memorial album to this famous Swiss radio host from Lausanne. He was born in Fribourg, and has died in Lausanne at the age of around 53 years only. The cover is a beautiful piece of art. One of the best looking LP covers from this period I have ever seen. It looks a bit psychedelic. Condition of the record and cover are still perfect mint! It plays superclean as new, without any surface noice cracklings. I believe that there could have been only very few copies of this LP ever made. A bargain!

Great unknown pop psych LP by possibly some UK/Swiss or international formation! It was produced by Freddy Burger the producer of Les Sauterelles etc. and only released in Switzerland. Bandmembers were called: Chris Palmer, John Barker, Dennis Lammin, Fedon Tilberis, and Kazimierz Ling. It was beautifully signed by three of the 5 bandmembers on the backcover! I’ve not seen a copy of it for sale in ages!
