SWISS SINGLES COVER GALLERY: BEAT JAZZ POP PUNK ROCK SCHLAGER 1950 - 1990 (Switzerland - private edition) new! CHF 37:00 MONSTER 290+ PAGE DISCOGRAPHY OF SWISS 7" RECORDS(SINGLES AND EP’S) THIS PICTORIAL DISCOGRAPHY HAS BEEN PUT TOGETHER BY THE ORGANIZER OF THE MAIN SWISS RECORD FAIR FROM ZURICH OVER A PERIOD OF ABOUT 25 YEARS. THE RECORDS PICTURED HAIL FROM SEVERAL COLLECTIONS. VIRTUALLY ALL THE BIG SWISS COLLECTORS HAVE HELPED TO PUT THIS BOOK TOGETHER BY CONTRIBUTING PHOTOS OF THEIR PRECIOUS RECORDS, AND THAT’S ALSO WHY IT CAME OUT THAT GOOD. IT INCLUDES OVER 3500 FULL COLOR PHOTOS OF SWISS 7" RECORDS (45S AND EPS) FROM THE 50S TILL THE MID 90S, WHICH IS QUITE A LOT FOR A COUNTRY AS SMALL AS SWITZERLAND. ALL KINDS OF STYLES ARE PRESENT: FROM 50S ROCK N ROLL, 60S BEAT, TO SCHLAGER, SOUL, INSTRUMENTAL RNR, COUNTRY, PUNK, ALL TYPES OF ROCK, ETC. VIRTUALLY ALL THE SWISS BEAT/GARAGE 45S GOT PICTURED WHICH IS QUITE A GREAT ARCHIVEMENT FOR SURE. THE 50S SWISS ROCK N ROLL SECTION IS GOOD BUT NOT COMPLETE, BUT THE PUNK SECTION IS JUST ABOUT COMPLETE TOO. YOU ALSO GET TO SEE SOME RIDICULOUSLY RARE ALTERNATE SLEEVES, AS WELL AS SOME UNRELEASED ACETATES, TEST-PRESSINGS. THE ONLY COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE IS THE RARITY SCALE OF ONE TO SIX STARS. AS WITH MOST PRICEGUIDES, THE RARITY SCALE STAR GRADINGS ARE NOT VERY ACCURATE FOR SOME PARTS: BORING, COMMON RECORDS SUCH AS THOSE BY LYS ASSIA WERE RECEIVING 3 TO 4 STARS FOR RARITY. I WOULD VALUE THEM AT ONE TO MAYBE TWO STARS MAXIMUM. GREAT RECORDS WHICH ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SUCH AS THE ONE BY THE DUO MAUBERT, OR THE ONE FROM THE FROGGIES (WITH ONLY ONE COPY IN EXISTANCE) ARE LISTED WITH FOUR TO FIVE STARS ONLY, EVEN THOUGH THEY WOULD BE WORTH SIX STARS EASILY. NEVERTHELESS THIS IS STILL A MUST FOR COLLECTORS OF SWISS 60S BEAT, GARAGE, FREAKBEAT, AND SWISS PUNK 45S. IT IS PRICED AT A SUPER LOW NON-PROFIT SELL OUT PRICE, SO BETTER GRAB NOW BEFORE THE PRICE WILL GO UP AGAIN! weight=1,6 KILOS |
