Ultra rare German original LP on the green CBS label from around 1966! A Telstar Production! I’ve found a Dutch Telstar label 45 of the Bremans Du Bist Meine Liebe / Danny Boy on Popsike that went for EURO 91. The Bremans were a trio including I believe the very famous German song writter duo Joachim Relin on drums, and Heinz Gietz at the organ, along with a girl on bass and lead vocals that looks kinda familiar and could actually be a very famous German Schlager singer too, but I’m not sure who she is! The songs were probably recorded in just one take. Styles vary from track to track, but is more in a late 50s/early 60s style: Come Back / Ave Maria No Morro / Das War Mein Erster Kuss / Ma Vie / Ich Kann Ohne Dich Nicht Leben / Frag Den Abendwind / Mein Herz Ruft Nach Dir / Suess Wie Schokolade / Du Bist Meine Liebe / Ich Sende Dir Rosen / Ging Die Strasse Schon / Mulatta Cha Cha Cha / Eso Es Amor / Danny Boy (great German version of the old standard) A very good LP overall, and better than your usual German schlager LP! I believe that this LP could eventually be worth a lot more!

Rita Lee of Os Mutantes, and her friend Lucia TurnBull first outside project, these recordings were done for PHILIPS in 1973. Cilibrinas Do Eden have played at Os Mutantes show in MAY 1973, at Palacio de Convencoes do Anhembi, in Sao Paulo. It was Cilibrinas first gig. At this show Rita and Lucia played with all the Os Mutantes backline the show appeared to be a psychedelic edge with Rita and Lucia dressed like some outside Aliens for that time. Never officially released in vinyl or CD, Now a group of Brazilian fans with European residence pick the recordings and put them in this deluxe vinyl format, with only 500 copies done (?). This release also contains 2 rare tracks by Os Mutantes. You will certainly dig this if you like Mutantes: these recordings are a mix of psychedelic with some glam-rock freakness. Fantastic professionally remastered sound, unbelievable material for all the Os Mutantes fans, and one of the best lost albums of Brazilian psychedelia

Great Swedish rnb beat garage LP by this Chuck Berry, Animals influenced band from south of Stockholm, Sweden. This all official LP includes 7 tracks that were originally recorded for the legendary Dollar label in 1966, plus 4 raw studio demos from 1965 (all previously unreleased), as well as one very early live track from 1964! The linernotes were written by the bands manager, and brother of the bandleader Hasse Warmling. Hasse later became a founding member of the legendary UK New Wave outfit The Stranglers. He even wrote one of the Strangelers biggest hits: Strange Little Girl!

This is easily one of the five best Swiss 60s beat, garage, psych LPs, and it could easily be the rarest one of them too! Very nice condition: The record LOOKS about VG+ (few light paperscuffs only) and PLAYS PERFECT M- !! The labels look perfectly MINT! The thin laminated LP cover looks a SUPERCLEAN VG++ with about 2 inch seams split at the top right only (which does not show from the fron or back. It definitely sounds like The Quiet Jungle serving up some raw garage renditions of the Stones Lets Spend The Night Together / Little Red Rooster / The Last Time / Satisfaction / Paint It Black/ 19th Nervous Breakdown / plus Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby that are sometimes equally great to the versions from The Pupils (The Eyes) rare Tribute To The Rolling Stones LP on Wing Records, but The Quiet Jungle’s versions are played with a more US 60s garage sound. The LP is closing out with 5 absolutely great coverversions of Gimme Some Lovin, Bend It, All Or Nothing, I Can’t Control Myself, as well as The Yardbirds Over Under Sideways Down. Definitely the best Stones Tribute LP along with The Pupils LP there is! Condition of the vinyl is virtually perfect. It plays perfect M-, with absolutley NO surface noise audible! co=one very small drill hole! You also get rocking coverversions of Train Kept A Rollin by The Precious Few, Little Latin Lupe Lu by Phil Medley, Stupidity by The Young Generation which has already appeared on the Crude PA compilation, Be Bop A Lula by The Blue Crystals which was already comped on the Garage Punk Unknowns series, The Girl Can’t Help It by The Rockin Ramrods, along with a couple of other repeats such as I Need You Near, a killer 60s garage cut by John English III, They Say by 409 from Canada that was previously comped in about equal fidelity on the Nightmares From The Underworld series, College Psychology Of Love the classic track by Churchmice (here misspelled as Churche Mice), Whats Left with Girl Said No that was comped in much better fidelity on the 60s Rebellion series. A bunch of the other cuts from this LP are maybe rare, but are no better than average with the exception of three great unknown 60s garage tracks by Finite Minds, The Fugitives 5, the Checkmates! This is still a very good and pretty cool 60s garage compilation overall, but then again they were using the wrong sides of some of the records.
