60S BEAT/RNB/GARAGE PUNK/SURF 45S PART TWO: ALL PRICES IN SWISS FRANKS
Ultra rare original promo-only bandphoto/card from either 1965, or 1966 by this obscure Dutch beat/rnb band from Sliedrecht, in south Holland! It has got the original lineup of The Funks pictured. A third guitarist was later on added for the 2nd lineup! Judging by the fabulous looks of the photo and lineup of the band, I would guess that they must have been a pretty wild Dutch beat/rnb band from the mid 60s for sure! Not sure if they were ever recording! This is actually the same copy that was pictured on the Nederbiet website, along with about 30 others from my collection. It hails as the only known copy amongst collectors! Nobody else seems to have a copy of it! This is as rare as it gets! Condition is better than in my strong scan, since because my scan appears to be much darker than the real thing! A bargain!

Perfect official reissue of the BEST French 60s garage 45 ever made! Both sides KILL! This WILD AND FRANTIC 2-SIDER was originally recorded and released in 1967 for a French made 7" on the Relax label (=the same label that has brought us Wally Tax and The Outsiders). There were only 500 copies of the original 7" on the Relax label ever made, and this deleted and soon to be rare reissue on the Tryptic label was also limited to just 500 copies too. It comes with a WILD photopacked 4 page insert, that shows the guys in action!

The A-side plays a sexy almost x-rated type of cut with horny pleading female German lead vocals and fine organ sound - some German 60s collectors may like this track a lot! The flipside plays a nice bi-lingual German sung beat ballad with English verses and is quite good! Soundwise it could hail from ca. 1966 - 1968! Musically not bad, it sounds a bit amateurish! An interesting one for the German 60s beat collectors for sure! I’ve never heard of the singer, band, or label before. A bargain!

Ultra rare and also super cool promo-only bandcard from either 1965,or 1966 by this obscure Dutch 60s beat/rnb/garage Garage band from Raalte! The bandmembers were called Carel Roescher (lead guitar), Freek Nieuwennuis (rhythm guitar), Adrie Kloene (bass, he is still active as a bass player today!), and Charles Van Issum (drums). They were managed by J. Roescher, who could have been the father of the lead guitarist! They were never releasing any records. This is my one and only copy of The Head Hunters card (offered hereby for sale) that was pictured on the Nederbeat website, as you can undoubtably see by my scanns. Price could be a lot higher considering that this is the only known copy amongst Dutch 60s beat collectors! A bargain!

Some of the Swiss collectors think that this was a Swiss band, and the book Die Deutschen Beatbands by Mathias Buck has them listed as an Austrian band, but I believe that they were a Danish band (all the 4 songs on this EP were written by Lordup/Claus =Danish names) The pressing could be from either Switzerland, Germany, or maybe from Austria, it is hard to tell since because the International label used to press their records in all the 3 countries.

Rare 1964 original 45 by the great Bobby Jameson of Mondo Hollywood, and Zappa, etc. fame, that was mostly using The Leaves for his backing band! Both cuts are 50s rooted folk pop rnr numbers, with a very cool Buddy Holly rockabilly influence on the flipside, and perhaps some Del Shannon on the topside! Both tunes are excellent, but I personally like the flipside better! This one should appeal greatly to the 50s rockabilly cats!

Super rare promo Single from 1967! It books for at $75 in priceguides! Both sides are very cool! Love and Hate reminds me a bit of the protest rock sound P.F. Sloan but it's still in a typical Jan and Dean way, as the flipside is too. The record plays about VG with some fine surface crackling. There are no big scratches visible, only some very super ficial ones. This record would possibly play better if it was cleaned properly.

The 2 great cuts on the A-side play a loud and perfect VG+ to VG++, but the 2 lame songs on the B-side have a bad scratch and plays VG- with some clicks, one skip that does not repeat on my stereo. This band was from Baltimore, Maryland. Highly recommended! A bargain!

Ultra rare original Lacions Fan-club bandphoto from 1965, or 1966! The Lacions were an early Dutch 60s beat band from Beneden-Leeuwen that is still active today! On the printed back of the card it reads BEAT GROUP THE LACIONS on top. Their lineup (which you can also find printed on the back of the card) was including Frans van Zwam (rhythm guitar), P.J. Van Kaauwen (bass), Jos Markus (lead guitar), and Ici van Gelder (drums). This is no less but the only known copy of the original Lacions Fanclub photo amongst collectors! I was submitting a scan of it to the Nederbeat website along with some others a couple of years ago! This one is seriously rare!! A bargain!

Ultra rare and also super cool original printed promo-only bandcard from ca. 1966 by this obscure Dutch 60s beat/rnb band from Nijmegen! The card was stamped in with a very special and stylish RNB GROEP THE MONKS logo along with the contact to the band on the back on the back! This is the same copy that was also pictured on the Nederbiet website too! Nobody else seems to have a copy of it!

Ultra rare original promo-only bandphoto by this obscure 60s band from Nijmegen, Holland! The card was stamped with the date 23. September 1966 on the back of the card. On the printed back it reads BEAT GROUP THE MONKS on top, followed by the full lineup and contact to the band! This glossy original photo is older and much rarer than the slightly later Monks promo-only band card above! There were only very few copies of this promo-only photo/card ever made in 1966. This is the same copy that was also pictured on the Nederbiet website too. Nobody else seems to have a copy of it.
