What's there to tell about me? I've been a Microsoft MVP since 1996 (Most Valuable Professional; an annual award for outstanding service in on-line support in the Microsoft newsgroups).
A B.S. in Agronomy and practical experience in various business fields provide a diverse background for my consulting work. INTER-Solutions is my own business. I do training, as well Word automation programming, especially linking Word and other Office applications.
I've co-authored two books for the German market, published by MS Press, and one in English. When I find myself answering the same "developer" question over and over again, I write an aritcle for the MSDN site at microsoft.com. For a number of years, I was a regular author for the German magazine "Inside Word", published by redmond's. From time to time - while the magazine existed, I contributed articles to Informant's "Microsoft Office and Visual Basic for Applications Developer". There have also been articles by me in Pinnacle Publishing's "Smart Access" and Logical Expression's "Computor Companion". (List of my English language publications)
To get away from the computer screen, I make bobbin-lace, ride horseback and read science fiction. If you'd like to see a sample of my bobbin-lace work, you can look at a Honiton lace butterfly [Btrfly.jpg 406 KB, original size ca. 10 cm square]. Or, you can see the details of the bird on the background [Lacebrd.jpg 215 KB, orig. size ca. 10 x 6 cm].
I'd be interested in your comments or suggestions for my web-site.
Please address any questions about Microsoft Word to the newsgroups at msnews.microsoft.com. There's also a web-based interface if you don't use a newsreader. There are many knowledgeable people who monitor and answer questions in these places, increasing your chances of getting a timely and well-informed answer. In addition, many others may have the same question and will benefit from the public exchange of information. I contribute when my work schedule allows and look forward to seeing you there.
