This F-16C "Fighting Falcon" is an updated Block 30 machine, enabled to carry the Lantrin-Pod. It was the personal aircraft for Col. Brian Bade of the 175th Fighter Squadron / 114th Fighter Group with the South Dakota - Air National Guard (ANG). It is shown in the markings it sported in September 1991, while based on Joe Foss Field, Sioux Falls, S.D.

The kit's origin is by Hasegawa (V004), dated 1988. It is a nice kit in 1/48 scale with good detail, although I don't like how Hasegawa is used to *not* include ordnance with their kits. They are asking to buy their special weapons set ..

I took the Cluster Bomb Units, Lantrin Pods, ANQ, AIM-120 etc. from other kits to save money on this.

The aircraft is named "Leader of the Pack" (sic!).
