Teaching

Since September 1, 2011 I am a professor of electrical engineering at the Institute for Energy Technology (IET) of the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland (HSR) in Rapperswil, Switzerland. At the HSR I am teaching the following subjects:

Since August 1, 2006 I am a visiting lecturer at ETH Zürich, Laboratory for Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Electronics.

At the ETH I am teaching the following courses:

1. Physical Modelling and Simulations of Micro and Nano Structures (with prof. Christian Hafner), winter semester, our script along with the corresponding exercises is available on-line here.
2. Einführung in numerische Feldberechnungsverfahren (Introduction into Numerical Field Computation), as a guest of prof. Christian Hafner, Summer semester, My lectures "Introduction to FEM" and "Introduction to BEM" can be downloaded as PDF files.
