Prof. Dr. Jasmin Smajic
Welcome to my personal Web page!
I am working as a professor of electrical engineering at the
Institute for Energy Technology (IET) of
the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern
Switzerland (HSR).
I am also a visiting lecturer
at the Laboratory for Electromagnetic Fields and
Microwave Electronics of the ETH Zürich.
The purpose of this web site is to inform the
visitors about various interesting
aspects of computer simulations,
optimizations
and related subjects. Additionally, my intention is to present the content in a
relaxed manner which is,
of course, not
a common approach for official web sites in general. Therefore, I have decided
to make such
a personal
site where
I can present, for me interesting scientific and non-scientific topics in the way I like.
To avoid spam I don't explicitly write my e-mail address here.
However, for contact purposes
I write here my
e-mail address in a rather descriptive (spam-proof) manner:
jasmin.smajic(at)hsr.ch.
Not to have only a scientific content, I have added a little personal
photo
gallery. You can find there some photos
I have taken at some special places I like. At the moment, it is not a big
collection. I hope it will grow as the content
will be periodically updated.
Note that the site is at its beginning. I will slowly, but permanently, work
on this site in future. Therefore I invite you
to come
back from time to time and see what happens here. I will do my best to keep it
short, simple, funny and
interesting.
