Prototype Information

In 1980 the RhB received 15 four axle slide wall cars of the type Haik-v 5121 - 5135 from Josef Meyer AG in Rheinfelden. With a capacity of 26t and a floor area of 32,7 m2 almost the same volume as in SBB standard gauge cars could be achieved. For universal use also in express trains all cars have installed lines to carry the heating through. The cars 5121 - 5125 showed "VALSER" advertising from the beginning, the cars 5126 - 5132 got the big "RhB" logo with red stripes. In 1988 also Haik-v 5126 and 5127 were repainted in "VALSER" paint scheme.

Model Information

The trucks are completely modelled, the wheels have individual shock absorbers and Teflon bearings. The whole brake system with all lines is prototypically built. The Haik-v and Haik-qy models carry weight (Tara) and revision data matching their prototype. The following road numbers are produced: 5121 - 5125 with "VALSER" paint scheme, 5126 - 5132 with "RhB" logo, 5133 and 5135 with "KUONI" and 5134 with "HG COMMERCIALE" advertising.
